All About Home Addresses

Yap I hope the government will check and clean up the current P1 registration system soon. If they can do a clean job for buying and selling residential properties OVERNIGHT, I do not see why they are not capable in doing this simple cleaning or as said flusing out the dirt, cheat, liars etc of this P1 registration system.

Dear="Politicalsentinel,

There are just so many tell tale signs :
* Last minute change in address in NRIC during year of registration
* School bus consistently heading to a different location iso home address and parents actually own the place where school bus drops the child.
* Not being a official owner of the address they live in and their owned property is elsewhere. Eg. borrowing relatives' address for registration.
* Using a owned property but the child actually don't stay there as it's rented out.
The list just goes on.... it's just not that difficult to tell. It's just that do they have the resource to do it. -

But to politicalsetinal's point, there are really alot of such parents around doing it. He/She is just being outspoken about it. -

Yes kanecher. No need to take it seriously as long as we are clean.

All I want is a same school for my kid from p1 (less stress for both of us). After reading moe's FAQ, I'm not doing anything illegal. Political sentinel's post must be in general. Let's take it that way. -

easy for the teacher to just tease it out from the kids in an innocent sharing session of get-to-know-you, sharing about where they stay, type of housing etc etc
