      LOLMum:

it was a wet day yesterday but we went to westminster hoping to catch the queen. it was so crowded and we were unable to get close to the bridge. the police control was quite tight. once they saw a good crowd in one area, they would blocked others from entering. we in the restricted area had plenty of space to walk around . but we were squashed and pushed and shoved in the area where the big screen was. it was so bad that i nearly lost my handbag... and wth, some people were smoking

there was also random check of bags and those who couldnt get in were pissed......but the police and traffic control staff were firm
      .

we decided to move to embankment to check out the situation and it equally bad. london bridge too was crowded. we took a train and was able to catch sight of the river from above. it was awesome (train was moving slow and this particular train stopped at the centre of th brige and we were able to take pictures of the rowing boats and the crowd at the london eye.

but it was a wet and cold day.

people using these periscopes to catch a sight of the boats and queen.

1.Love the scenery of your first picture.. so calming not to see anything. Back here wake up to see soooo many things...

        2. I have same shoes. In red. ๐Ÿ˜‰

        3.Your DH sooo tall! :yikes:

        4.Food there so gourmet. :please:

5.So, what did you actually get for yourself?

Did the LV Neverfull $ there attract you to get one?

kekekeke, my dh will kiss you thousands for saying he is tall.........kekeke

i like our food there this time round....cos i dont have to cook kekeke.
but the food in supermarkets definitely more expensive compared to last year when i was tehre.

oh, we had lots and lots and lots of cherries and strawberries. :scared: and i mean lots and lots....

oh, i got the lv bag for my niece (cheaper by about S$100 after tax, i think cos i only have an est. cost of the bag in singapore) and a lulu guiness bag at fantastic discount for a friend. here selling about S$300 but got it for about S$140.

i very good this time only got 2-3 pieces of clothes and a small non-branded wallet. ds also very good - got some legos and a few tees.

but dd was the one who spent and spent - got loads of makeup and clothes... :moneyflies: :moneyflies: :moneyflies:

we busted our weight limit by 10 kg but the ground staff at the sq counter just let it be... ๐Ÿ˜‚ :thankyou: dh :stupid: claimed should have put more things into the bag and i was like :slapshead: ..never spare a thought for his old lady here who has to handle all 4 huge pieces of luggages, and others which is a grand total of 11 bags altogether.

was walking behind a mum and her toddler son one day. it was windy and things were flying in the air. mum was holding his left hand.

a green plastic bag flew past them and suddenly the boy stick out his right hand and caught it. it was like a frog suddenly sticking out its tongue to catch the fly.

the mum took it from him, folded it and put it in her bag. a moment later, she turned towards him and said \"you have been good today.\" to which he replied \"yes, i caught rubbish.\".

it might not sound funny here but when it was played out in front of you, it has a kinda warm feeling and funny. and i honestly dont think her \"you have been good today\" refers to him cataching the bag hahaha ๐Ÿ˜‰
