My child's school is having supplementary everyday starting from this term. It used to be a rest day on Wed. I guess heat is up for PSLE. However, the science teacher has not started her engine but claimed that she could not start the science supplementary this week since parents have not signed the consent form. Is that she has not sent out the form or the parents have not signed...?! Very bad luck to have this teacher this year. So got to depend on ourselves

My DD science teacher more tok kong! School reopen and next few days gg for maternal leaves. The school will send relief teacher for rest of days for PSLE! -

Yes, I feel as though I am the one taking PSLE. The feeling is more real than donkey years ago when I took it. The homework brought home today is minimal.
last time i don't remember studying so hard for PSLE ! i can still remember i was playing 5 stones and zero-thousand point with my next-door neighbour's daughters one week before PSLE ! -

School not able to get another experienced science teacher to take over ?
Agree boh bian but why happen to my DD class!
Understand your anxiety ... now already term 3 ... so crucial now ! :nailbite: -
The teacher is listening to the govt's call to procreate
Son had another teacher when his FT went to deliver bb last year. When dealing with human beings, things become complicated. Parents are on one end, teachers also humans with families on another end.
When I was in primary school, the teachers do teach. Properly and adequately. Why is this not happening now? Are teachers employed for another purpose now? Btw, I am not blaming teachers. Shouldn't MOE look into this NOW and not nearer GE? -

I was told that teachers still in child-bearing age do not teach P6 classes…don’t know how true.

Not so nice to mention my DD school. I attended a parent talk earlier this year. Conducted by the principal. She says last year batch of PSLE result not bad. When she flash up the slide, I almost fainted. The ave T Score in the school last year is 210. And she says not bad!!!
