I have been searching for a church for eons in vain because I find them very commercialised in their ways. I do not believe God speaks to me like this. Maybe I have not searched hard enough, have not given up hope though.
Let me relate an old true story to u fr a well known Zen master.
A Jesuit priest went to his temple to learn meditation.
To cut a long story short, d Jesuit priest after learning d technique n many sessions,
when asked if he sees God, replied \"I can feel God all ard me\".
d master said, \"Continue to meditate, till u become God.\"
u understand?
I have not given up hope because I still want to believe in people.

I 120% agree with you for words in red. I have long ago decided never to judge God based human yardstick, otherwise God would have been ruined long ago..as you have your own personal experience as well.

But I think GOD is in heart.....is everywhere. One can practise good deeds, help people etc in their own little way. Dun have to be in religion, in church etc.
I have met a number of Cs those whose action is different from what they preach.
I have a friend claiming I had no yardstick but joke was, I discovered she was having EMA....... and she was not the only C I knew in EMA ....

Went thru the papers quickly…
Some money or donations were returned to a member who had some financial difficulties and some into the kh’s pocket (his company sold abt $3m of goods to church)…
So not all went into the singing career… -

I feel MY n KH were out to do gud initially, they r not corrupted in d mold of d SIA, PUB or LTA guys for pure greed, but rather they made missteps once they reached a position of influence n had control over substantial amount of money, n perhaps feel they r entitled to some of it. -

Been to ch, nc and a few others....still prefer Methodist church.
