When I checked One Map last month, our home addres is within 1km.


When I checked One Map yesterday, from \"Find school near a building\", we are under 1km; but from \"Find Buildings near a school\", we are under 1-2km.

I would like to know whether my home is within 1km or not?

I believe you will be under 1-2 km. then again it could be data error in onemap

Best is that you write to MOE and get official response from them.

We call school to check today, they say they will let us know later.

So sad...... as this is the only school within 1km from our home.

on the spot, Officer check & let you know immediately whether or not is < 1km.

If my kid already get into the same school successfully I will not report the case. Just like illegal parking, as long as the cars dont get my way I will not complain to LTA. Kids are innocent so very poor thing also if they get expelled …

Thanks everyone for the concerns and alerts raised. In my case, I have no fear of kid being disqualified due to abuse of system and misuse of address and this is precisely why I dare to raise the question openly in forum. So apparentally what I'm hearing is couple having 2 different addresses DO post an issue for primary school registration. This I will highlight to my husband tonight and 'forced' to change as we have been having different address for many years since marriage and it never is a concern to us till now. Thanks all..

Hi, i have the same situation as you. My add is still with my mum's house and never bothered to change all these years since i'm just down the same street after getting married. My hubby has changed his add since married. We are thinking of the school just below our block too. After reading the advices here, I think i should quickly change. My P1 registration is next year. Will there be any effect on me if my add change is only effective for 1 year?

There is actually a report that you can buy online from SLA. It costs a few dollars and you can download it online. It will clearly state based on your address, which are the schools within 1km of the house.

Best to get it in black & white. They can always deny it if it's verbally communicated.

I check One Map again just now. My home is in red color and within 1 km again. I save the web page and print out the map as evidence.

How can One map make change everyday?
