How did time pass so quickly!! it's term 3 already, and the P2s no longer have 'honeymoon'... time to join the rest of u in the pressure cooker!!
DS was looking forward to the end of Jun holidays. He said he misses running about in the field with his friends - that should include your ds since they're usually together - during recess. This is what valuable childhood experiences are built upon: it's priceless. -

Honeymoon? What is that? If you are referring to honeymoon in school, those days are history. Pressure cooker is whistling loudly now. Term 3 schedule is out...printed on paper. -

I learnt it the hard way with my P5 boy.
Also do not assume if the eldest child is breezing through, the other younger siblings will be breezing through like the eldest child.
Then again, moderation is strongly encouraged based on individual child's capability and personality. -

Yes, the morning chess sessions, the recess soccer/table tennis sessions and the after school before supple. lessons catching sessions.Mrsbongz:

Yup, term 3 schedule's up. Ds was not keen to start sch at all... He sees his frens at student care afterall
I m only aiming for consistently acceptable work.. N hopefully some pride in getting work done well... If not, will set bad example for ds2 in p1 next yr.
ds is juz keen to finish his work n totally forgets wat he learns in days.. Sooo frustrating to revise again n again when there is so much to catch up on. Good thing psle is juz 1 exam n not an aggregate of 6 years.. -

Wow ds2 in P1 next year ... 2 kids in PH ... you're gonna get your hands full. I take care of 1 oredi so busy. Can't imagine those parents with 3 or more kids. :scared:Yup, term 3 schedule's up. Ds was not keen to start sch at all... He sees his frens at student care afterall

So P2 parents have voted overwhelmingly in support of the sch's holistic assessments (82% in favour). Think P should feel edified. I saw the schedule of having tests every 2 weeks or so. I fear those CL show-and-tell presentations the most cos that's ds's Achilles' heel.

Hey, so in the end, did majority of p2 parents agree to include the scores of those term 2 tests as part of overall p2 results?

Yup, an overwhelming 82% agreed. Actually there's no option 3 - 100% SA2; otherwise I would surely vote for that.

Why suffer in T2 & 3 when we (ds and I) only need to suffer tail-end of T4? Then in T2 & 3 we can continue to float around and remain happy-go-lucky.
