Suspect my maid has hp, advice needed

I am ok with it as long as she is zi dong (automatic).
But she is only with me for less than 2 mths, i have seen her use her HP everyday.
Even when I am back from work. I cannot imagine how long she will talk during the day when no one is around at home.

She rather talk on the phone then clear plates.
THis is really getting on my nerve.
I plan to tell her that she can only use after 10pm.
Is this reasonable?
I scare she will give me black face or ill treat my kid.
I always tell myself must ren. Coz when i am not at home, I dunno what she will do to my kid. But there is a limit to this.

Another thing i dont understand. Unless she has some unlimited plan for her HP, how come she can chat so long? Its either she has some ways to call cheaply or she is v rich!!

Actually, you should have made it clear to her when you interview her that she is only allowed to use her phone after she has finished her chores or after certain time at night. That's what I told my current maid and she said ok.

Now that you have given her the freedom to use it during the day, to restrict her now will definitely cause some resistance/ unhappiness.

Free incoming calls, or very generous employers? One of my godma's ex-maid helped herself to 10s and 50s from the family's wallets to sustain her three hps. She was still pretty broke (although worked with them for many years) when they finally caught on to her tricks and fired her.

Yes, and generous construction 'boyfriends'. Some of them have more than one handphone - to keep personal and business contacts separate. Oh and watch out for unlimited access to facebook and the internet too.

When I found out, i threw the phone away, called the contractor and gave him a shelling.

So if u wanna pre-judge me as inhumane and maid abuser…I don’t really care… I have enough of all this nonsense… so much so I decided not to have any FDW now.

Most amazing one I heard was where the maid hooked up with the gas delivery man....and he was married. Not sure how many other households he was servicing :evil:

First meeting and the worker give your maid hp and phone card??!!! That means the worker only has one thing on his mind, free sex!!! Can't be love right??

Strange that your maid would accept the \"gift\" on the first encounter!! I would do the same. Throw away the phone and give the worker a peace of my mind. Hire him to do waterproofing job in my house and he has other agenda on this mind.

I do hear about Blangah worker following maids around and hoping they could fish for something. some maids do go for it while the good ones will be frighten.
