It is good that the authority uses one standard measurement ie. one map. It is very clear cut and minimise disputes.

In earlier days, schools would have a map of the vicinity posted on their walls during P1 Registration, with 1km and 2km radii marked out.

I used the onemap provided by MOE and realise that the distance from my home to the school is 2.04km… In this instance, will it be classify as within 2km since its a mere 0.04km?

Er...sorry. How did you get such accurate figure 2.04km from OneMap??
What function did you use??

I key in distance from and to… It will gives you the distance. It’s at the upper right corner

You should use the School Query function. We do not know which point is used for the school as the school compound is big.

The safest way is to use the School Query function.
