I'm curious. Don't CHC members question KH's lifestyle and current residence? Or they are aware and are ok with that. Are they not perturbed that their contributions may be servicing his lifestyle and address? I mean, I don't expect pastors or religious leaders to live in poverty but... does one need to own a property at Sentosa Cove? It all sounds so unnecessarily extravagant.
KH talks about prosperity gospel... but, whose prosperity are CHC members servicing here? -

According to the news article I read, the Sentosa Cove penthouse was registered under KH and the Indonesian bizman's names. But who holds majority or minority stakes, only KH and this guy know.

I need to get this off my chest. I will go on record for this (and most likely incur the wrath of CHC members) and described CHC account of this Roland Poon incident to its members.
They denied like a blatant liar and kind of force that poor guy to apologise. Goodness, what else under heaven (if there is such place) will they restraint their sinful (if there is such thing as sin) deeds.looking4Tutor:

I wont be surprised if it is some kind of gift too. I know of people like to give pastors expensive presents, eg. a few thousand dollars of CNY red packet. -

If he was really threatened by lawsuits before, I don't think he wants to go through the same thing again. I knew well that last time Kong Hee's explanation to the service was in line with what MSM has reported about this i.e. Roland Poon has seen the light and understood he was just misinformed. But I didn't feel right about that. If he was forgiven, why did he has to print full public apologies costing 5 digit figures when an open letter to the MSM explaining that he was just misinformed would have been sufficient to close the case.

I was never convinced (and still not) that the matter was settled amicably. -
Why don’t CHC members question KH & Sun Ho’s lavish lifestyle here and in US, Why sold his business back to CHC (why not others? why must CHC?)? and how much assets he and his wife have currently? Why didn’t he lead by example by donating all his business and assets to CHC instead of quoting others’ example of downgrading 5 HDB to 3 HDB in order to donate the money to CHC? Did he contribute the monthly tithes and weekly offerings? Who funds the expenses of Sun Ho in US? I wonder if KH is the wealthier Pastor in Singapore?
