        Thanks, VK2010.

I recognize this place! It's the row of fruit stalls. My dad likes to buy fruits from there too, but always in broad daylight though.

Take things for granted and this ordeal really teach her a lesson

She very daring lor, drove in without any male companion :yikes:
Even with male companion, i think it's useless. they have a gun.

Why did they carry S$80K of valuables anyway? It seems the robbers have been watching them knowing that they have the valuables?

Stopping at night in JB is not a good idea. Better still, try not to go at night if you have a choice.

Is this the same Esso station that once in a while appeared in the news being the scene of some unfortunate events?

I think most cars are insured for loss in Malaysia

there was also a syndicate, purposely lose car in M'sia and claim loss from insurers, esp when cannot keep up the installments .....

the fruit sellers there revealed that 60% of their customers are Singaporeans and they had also witnessed cars being stolen while the customers were at the stalls (1 man didnt switch off the engine and his car was gone when he came back with his fruits :slapshead: ). Another saw a robber slashed someone before robbing them.

All these fruit sellers never help their customers like how SG coffee shop who give 'warning' when LTA officers appear??

Since they saw these robbery cases, did they become witnesses or they are 'exempted' (else too busy, no time sell fruits)

Frankly, I won't want to risk for that few dollars......
