I have checked the distance of my house to the school of choice for our son in onemap.sg.
It is just outside 1km. But when we check with the school, they told us our house is within 1km. So whose information for the distance is more accurate?
Please enlighten us!

Address Used for Registration

The address to be used for the registration of children in the Primary One registration is the official residential address on the parents’ NRIC. This address will be used to determine the home-school distance category. Parents may obtain a list of schools within the 1km and 1-2km distance categories from the OneMap SchoolQuery Service managed by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) in June.

FYI. Last year under P2B, BPPS was ballot within 2km, NYPS was ballot within 1km and HPPS within 2km all get in (correct me if im wrong).

NYPS have 132registered by end of Day 1 which is much lower than previous years, if no major changes in P2A1 and 2, then at P2B, chances is very good even for those staying more than 2km.

I was trying to search for 2011 registration result for all phases for Fairfield Methodist but cannot find…can someone pls help me where can I find the 2011 result ?

We are registering for our son under 2C but looking at the Phase 1 result today we think the chances are quite slim haiz…
