I graduated from Wellington Primary in 2010 into Maris Stella High School. Wellington Primary was like a second home to me. There were no bullies around when i was in lower primary, and the teachers there were great. My form teacher understood us very well and knows what we needed to improve ourselves. He put in alot of effort everyday into teaching us and at the end of the day, his shirt is soaked even when the classroom is well ventilated and had fans. Nearing our PSLE, he even stayed back longer to have supplementary lessons for some of us and to be honest, our whole class wanted to have supplementary lessons. One of my peers begged his parents to write a letter to the teacher to allow him to attend supplementary classes. His teaching were great and I got a T-score of 233 under his teaching.

          2011 phase 2C

          Sembawang:
          Canberra, Endeavour required balloting.

the rest: no ballot, walk in direct.

Saw the balances after 3/7/12. It’s only the first day and the balances for Canberra and Endeavour were so limited. By the time when it reaches my turn in 2c, OMG… I’m so worried.

I need some advises. I am staying within 1km for Canberra and Endeavour Pri. I am under phase 2c. I know both sch will undergo balloting, but which 1 should I try? And if I’m not being selected, should I go for SPS or WPS?

Seriously, my gal is in Endeavour Pri. I am glad she is in there. But if she can’t get in, my next preference is SPS.

How I wish my son can get in Endeavour Pri too. May I ask what is the best for me? Should I ballot in Canberra or Endeavour? Is SPS next better choice that WPS? The P from WPS was previously from Shuqun Pri, heard WPS is getting better. How true is it?
                    🤷

I think this is up to you. Perhaps you can monitor the available vacancies after each phase then decide if you should go for the balloting schools.
As for WPS, I am not sure of the changes in there and I cannot advise you if it is getting better. Maybe you can try to go into WPS forum and see you can find some existing parents' opinion 😄
