Friend wish to register her dd in her alma mater, but due to numerous overseas relocation and moving house, she has misplace her old report book. Cannot find any supporting documentation either. Is there any chance that the school may be able to trace her records so that her dd can apply under 2A2? It is a school with relatively long history. -

BigD reply is correct -
if you had graduated from your alma mater in Primary 6 PSLE, but you’d lost original PSLE cert / misplaced report card. In that case, you can pay $10 to purchase another copy of PSLE cert from MOE. If you’d sat for PSLE, your P6 record would had been captured in MOE database.
my friend’s situation applies if:-
you did not graduate from your alma mater.
example:
my friend studied only 1 year (Primary 1) in school A. Thereafter, she was transfered out to another school, from P2 onwards. Note: she didn’t sit for PSLE in school A. She studied only 1 year in school A, but 5 years in school B. Her P6 PSLE cert was from school B, not from school A. In her case, she need to check the archived records from both schools. She desire to enrol her child in school A under phase 2A(2), not school B.
Thus, there is a difference.

Surprising when saw this thread created so early and some mummies are so well prepared… But I like it, haha…
This is very important thing, so early preparation is a must.
I stay at AMK area, now just start surveying on the schools located around my block.
So haven’t submit my PV form yet…
Just in case if I decide to go for PV to increase my chance, when is the cut off time? Am I late in this? -

Hi mummychia, I think you are referring to the pv? Jts, will all pv applicants be notified on their application? Or again, every school is different?
