2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take

LOLMum:
Just to clarify: any remaining vacancies after Phase 2A2 would therefore be split half-half between 2B & 2C.98 is for phase 2a2.
Whatever balance after phase 2a2 will then be split equally between 2b and 2c.
Doesn't that mean that there would be equal chance between 2B & 2C?
Then why would they say that doing PV has higher chances?
Just wondering & trying to see if I have any remote chance at phase 2C after all ... thanks! -

The pool of applicants in P2B is definitely smaller than that in P2C. P2B is for PVs, GRLs, etc. whereas P2C opens up to everyone. Not every parent has the time to be involved in these activities.Just to clarify: any remaining vacancies after Phase 2A2 would therefore be split half-half between 2B & 2C.

In addition, if one were to not balloted in during P2B, he/she could still apply with the school again in P2C. -

Yes, The remaining numbers of vacancies are divided into half for Phase 2B and 2C. However, the number who qualified under phase 2B is a smaller number to go up against compared to 2C. So chances are high er in 2B than phase 2C. Hope this helps. -
Thanks qms & lilfeets!

Yes, any remaining vacancies after phase 2a2 would be split half half between 2 b and 2 c.
Equal number of vacancies doesn't mean equal chances.
Being pv has higher chances because u are a phase above 2c. So if u didn't get a place in 2b, u have another try at 2c.
