Can I ask,


If all 119 places are taken up at P2(a)2, does it mean the school will have NO vacancies in Phase 2B? Is that allowed?

I have finished the registration for my son at Shuqun primary at 8.45am. My form didn’t state the registration number so don’t know how many already registered. But it was not crowded when I was there maybe because it is not "hot’ school. hehe!

Are you refering Nan Hua Primary? I saw my friend posted on FB, her son registration number was 159 at 9am.

There's no fixed number of vacancy set aside for each phase except for P2B and P2C, in the sense that the remaining vacancies from P2A2 is divided among P2B and P2C.

So if demand exceeds supply at P2A2, it would be there's nothing to divide for P2B and P2C.

It's not a case of allow or not but a case of demand and supply.

:scared: Registration # at 159? but the school has 101 vacancies left for P2A2... you mean there were already 159 people queuing to register P2A2 today? :yikes:

Have there been cases when all vacancies have been taken up at 2(a)2, registration at this phase is not first come first serve right?

I have never really thought about all this till this yr (time to register my boy)

It's not first come first serve. Should demand exceed supply, type of citizenship and home to school distance will come into play.

A ksp member shared in another thread, I can't remember which one now, it did happen before, long time ago, I estimated abt 30 years ago bah, I remember the school was nyps.

Enrolment 240. Queue no: 159 so left 81 slots

Hi Lonejean - really panic when you mentioned queue no was 159. i called NHPS to check but unable to find out immediately, she advised to call back 30min later for P2A2 updates.


Hopefully Mummy of 3 is correct, 240 less 159 = 81. :xedfingers:
