P2A1 is for parents who studied at the school AND join the school alumni association. So the parent must meet the 2 criteria before qualifying for P2A1 or is on the school advisory/committee. From the various school's website that I visited, to join the alumni association, need to pay member fees. If patent don't wish to pay to join, then register at P2A2 lor. Plus if the parent missed the timeline to join the alumni association to qualify for p2a1, they have to wait till p2a2.I have seen that before but I dun quite understand the explanation on 1st requirement. If siblings or parents of former school applies thru 2A1, why is it that the bulk comes from 2A2 where it refers to siblings ever studied at choice of school.
Sound silly but just curious to know.
P2A2 is also for parents who are staff of the particular primary school -

THC, did you manage to get any information from you phone call to NHPS? Getting really nervous now!Hi Lonejean - really panic when you mentioned queue no was 159. i called NHPS to check but unable to find out immediately, she advised to call back 30min later for P2A2 updates.
Hopefully Mummy of 3 is correct, 240 less 159 = 81. :xedfingers:

I can understand why some parents felt getting balloted successfully is better than striking lottery now. Pretty unique Singapore experience.
I had the feelings for last year. Was ballot out during P2B (unlucky 6). Then 2 days before orientation, got vacancy from the school.
Now i know what is \" Xi Qi Er Qi \" and is better than striking the 10 million ToTo.

Based on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff

thanks much -

There will be balloting from P2A onwards so long as demand > supply, even by one.Based on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff

Assume u referring to Phase 2b/2cβ¦well, as earlier phases, distance based go first, then remaining, ballotβ¦

can anyone help confirmBased on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff

the school will accept all according to the nationality (SC policy), follow by the home distance then hold ballot for the rest for the above example?
eg. 1
120 vacancies
100 SC - regardless of distance (all accepted?)
25 PR - will be according to the home distance or ballot???
so the 25PR will be under ballot?
and if
eg. 2
120 vacancies
125 SC - will be filtered out by distance?
80SC < 1KM(all accepted)
25SC < 2KM (all accepted)
20SC > 2KM (have to ballot?) :? -

Grab waitlist priority first, then see how things develops.Based on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff
