Lukeysmummy:
There will be balloting from P2A onwards so long as demand > supply, even by one.Based on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff

-
Assume u referring to Phase 2b/2cβ¦well, as earlier phases, distance based go first, then remaining, ballotβ¦

Lukeysmummy:
can anyone help confirmBased on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff

thanks much
the school will accept all according to the nationality (SC policy), follow by the home distance then hold ballot for the rest for the above example?
eg. 1
120 vacancies
100 SC - regardless of distance (all accepted?)
25 PR - will be according to the home distance or ballot???
so the 25PR will be under ballot?
and if
eg. 2
120 vacancies
125 SC - will be filtered out by distance?
80SC < 1KM(all accepted)
25SC < 2KM (all accepted)
20SC > 2KM (have to ballot?) :? -
Lukeysmummy:
Grab waitlist priority first, then see how things develops.Based on experience if there are 120 vacancies and 123 or 125 apply , will the school tend to hold ballot or just accept all? Need advice, tried to ask the school directly but got earful from the staff

anyone have the latest Q no. for RSS?
-
weyw:
25 PRs - depending on whether these 25 fall in the within 1 km category.eg. 1
120 vacancies
100 SC - regardless of distance (all accepted?)
25 PR - will be according to the home distance or ballot???
so the 25PR will be under ballot?
Assume the following:
< 1 km - 10
1-2 km - 10
> 2 km - 5
Since there are only 20 vacancies left, all the 20 PRs in the < 1 km and 1-2 km categories get in. The 5 staying beyond 2 km will be unsuccessful.
On the other hand, if all the 25 PRs stay within 1 km from the school, yes, these 25 PRs will ballot for the 20 places available.weyw:
< 1 km - 80 --> all acceptedeg. 2
120 vacancies
125 SC - will be filtered out by distance?
80SC < 1KM(all accepted)
25SC < 2KM (all accepted)
20SC > 2KM (have to ballot?) :?
1-2 km - 25 --> all accepted
> 2 km - 20 --> 20 applicants balloting for 15 places -
