Is the motivation camp conducted by Adam Khoo? Rivervale Pri had a similar camp during the June holidays. Worth the time if it works. Save the chicken essence a week before PSLE, might be too heaty. Can't drink from now till PSLE, especially when he hated it.

Just ensure that your ds drinks lots of water everyday.

As some of the mommies have done, try to avoid fried or heaty food as much as possible from now onwards.

i kind of \"ban\" my dd to buy titbits from school since school re-opens. Don't want her to end up with a sore throat before Prelim Oral.

My P6 assessment books can be handed down…from looks of it, doubt my relative’s son will have time to get it done. But I bought 2 CL PSLE assessment books recently…as tutor told me these will include more ci2 yu3 compared to just P6.


If homework is worksheets, it can be considered revision…but not past year papers. That is not revision.

So far never hear anyone got adverse reaction after taking chicken essence. Bad weather, so take just one week before PSLE to prevent too heaty. If you are worry, give barley water too.

Dump past year exam papers on the kids...that's it? That's called teaching? P6, PSLE :slapshead: Better still, ask students what their tutors teach. I reminded my son time and again, if any of his teachers want to know about tutors, EMAIL ME.

What is wrong with the teachers asking what the tutors teach? Knowledge is to be shared. Could be the teacher is trying to understand a certain method your child is using as there are many alternative methods to solve a mathematical question. It doesn't prove that the teacher does not know how to teach; he is simply trying to learn more.

The past year exam papers are given so that the teachers can go through them in class and it is a revision in a way because when the teachers go through the papers, the pupils are also revising what have been taught to them before.

You are referring to topical worksheets. Depending on the stage of learning/revision, the child should start with topical worksheets first before practising on exam papers nearer to the exam.

For Chinese, the 补充作业 is helpful as it focuses on each chapter or a few chapters.

There were two days of English and Chinese Oral. For English, one picture is on recycling. My dd has not found out the other one. For Chinese, the two pictures are on carpark and supermarket.
