Pei Tong Primary
-
Hi all,
I am staying in Sunset Way
Pei Tong by default is one of choice we would consider to send my elder boy to in the future - the nearest school around.
Just realized that Nan Hua is also within 1 km - but will definitely require balloting.
Hope to know more about Pei Tong - its culture, environment, management etc.
Care to share more? -
Juz received letter from PT, my ds gg to class 1C…anyone gg to same class?

Hi Hi,
Am rather new to this forum and is good to see posting on Pei Tong. My girl is in Pri 4 this year and so far, she has been blessed with very good teachers throughout her 4 yrs. I am very surprise to see how committed the teachers are in this neighbourhood school. Last year, I have this panic attack at night about my girls exam result. I message her form teacher around 7pm+ and both her form and MT teachers actually call to explain the situation to me patiently the very night. This is a very nice gesture.
My girl class has a couple of kids that pass their P3 GEP last year, yet some choosing to stay put in PTPS, not moving on to the SAP school. PTPS might not be the top school but it is really a good school to nurture the kids. -
Mama Windy:
Hi MummyWithin this wk I've checked out 2 BASC... I was very impressive & clean - Little Skool Hse @ Ulu Pandan CC. Cost $350/mth. It's with a child care. Now would be the cost of the school bus to get my daughter there. They seemed to be more pro & more open to parents bringing in private tutor if we want / we could sign up our kid for courses at the CC & the BASC teacher will take them there at the specified time.
Just visited Little Professor in Clementi Central Blk 443 - not impressive as compared to what I see in the website. What put me off were: 1) the toilet cum bathroom where the kids will shower & do their biz. Kind of dirty & there's only 1 for say.. abt 30 kids. I asked if they will allow kid to nap.. they yes if they finish their work... & asked where? on the desk where they will eat & do their work. Meaning that my poor daughter will prob be sitting on the same chair & use the same table for eating, homework & sit on the chair & put her hand on the table to sleep... cost is not cheap. $300..
The environment of the BASC in Clementi Student Care seems to be better. Cost $250. Add'l $10.wk for school hols.
My girl is going to Pei Tong Primary School next year 2013, currently searching for BASC for her. I would like to find out which student care have you send your kids, so far how isn't. Hope you able to share your feedback with me. Thank you. -
My daughter has been with this BASC call The Kidz Club at Lorong Kilat. The distance could be concern to some but I never look back since P1. Peitong do have school bus arrangement there.
They have very professional Teachers for each subject and the teachers are solely for coaching and teaching. They have caretakers to take care of their meals, discipline and so on. Is a workhard and playhard BASC. They have lots of holiday programmes during the June/Dec break. My dd is always looking forward for the programmes like Malaysia trip, stayover at Underwater world etc. They are also featured on Mediacorp OKTA last yr.

Hi to all Pei Tong parents,
we managed to secure a place in PT for my little boy (P1) through MOE’s help. His first day of school officially will be 25 June 12. Though he misses the 1st half of the year, I hope he will do ok for the 2nd semester.
Hope all your kids are doing well! -
Hello to all, im interested to enrol my DD to Pei Tong Pri School.
Does Pri 1 kids have alot of homework? What are your expectations for your kids when they return from school? Do you give them a time-table to follow or? -
Pei Tong does not require ballot in phase 2C, historically, is it correct?
