DS’ form teacher is caring and responsible. A lot of things need parent’s signature. So, we are quite updated of what DS is learning in school. Heard that the form teacher stays back with the students during recess time if they do not complete their homework. Does that imply "responsible"?

The current principal is responsive. Once I wrote a enquiry email to him, he replied quite promptly.

As for student care, I think there is another student care opposite Keming. Always see student care teachers lead students into school through the backgate.

Sorry, now I’m not too sure whether Keming going single session in 2014 or 2015.

I think schools with big intake can provide more variety in CCAs. Not sure about Malay culture and language enrichment in Keming. Think the Malay dance and sepak takraw are quite good. (Sorry if I "link" sepak takraw to Malay culture). Sounds good too if there is free Malay language enrichment. If you are looking for more Malay / International exposure, I think Bukit View Pri is a good school.

Perhaps you can compare the statistic as the registration is going-on - see whether you have the chance over at PEPS.

FMPS under Phase 2B? Need to think about the distance and logistic arrangement.

PEPS have more interesting CCA as compared to KMPS, which also contribute to the popularity of PEPS. I understand from PEPS admin that they will also have in-house student care centre after the extension work done.

For my case, KMPS is <1km and PEPS is 1-2km. PEPS total enrolment 240 vs KMPS 210. Now available for phase 2A is PEPS 161 vs KMPS 136. PEPS do not have PV. I will keep a close look out for these 2 schools after the phase 2B.

My plan is to check on the applicants from these 2 schools during the phase 2C end of day 1 and decide on the 2nd day if I will withdraw my son from my phase 2A2 phase with my alma mater school and enrol with either KMPS or PEPS for logistic issue.

Pass few years there are balloting for those who stay within a km from PEPS. Since you are not even within 1km, you really need to monitor closely and take a risky chance if you want to register at that school.

Thanks SunShine05, thanks for your feedback. It has given my DH a pretty good impression of Keming.

Same here. KMPS is <1km and PEPS is 1-2km. I am interested with the history and CCA of PEPS. for KMPS, it’s it’s vicinity. Notice that for academy wise, Keming is improving alot over the years and probably better than PEPS? Heard of change of principal in KMPS, not sure will it affect the next 5 years of Keming culture and result. Any idea the new principal is from where?

Is PEPS a Christian or Catholic School?

                neither.
                just a government co-ed school

Does anyone know type of CCA Bukit View Pri offered? Their website does not have the list. Not sure if it will be better than Keming in terms of CCA.

Getting excited. I’m stil considering whether to register Keming (<1km) or Princess Elizabeth (1-2km). Seems that there is more vacancies in Princess Elizabeth…but as I do not fall under <1km, afriad the chance is not there.
