Hi does anyone know which secondary school do most of the P6 girls from Pei Hwa go to? Thanks

Depends on PSLE score and Sch Cut Off ....
26x Will be the 2 sch - One at BT, the other at Stevens Rd πŸ˜‰
24x to 25x will be ACS, NJC, NUS, RV, Cedar, MGS, SCGS, the CHIJ's, St Margaret, etc

ALL Will Aim to Get into the Highest PSLE Cut Off sch tt they can be Admitted, Right? (Or at Least, their Parents will wish them to be .... :evil: )

But surprisingly (or Not?) Never Heard of Kids aspiring to go to the Sec Sch with .... Errrrrrrrrrr ....
same Name-sake -le! πŸ¦†

Need to pray more than double, maybe triple or more πŸ™‚
Imagine more than 50 applicants for 27 vacancy.. the thought of it makes me even stress! 😘

8. VP's hair [as backup] ==> checked

Looks like we're all set to go. Erm,when is your balloting again? :evil:
=====

Ok, on a serious note now.

It's definitely easier said than done, but try to stop ruminating on the balloting. In the end, all this stress won't make a diff to the balloting outcome. It'll only cause you unneccessary anxiety.

Well said.
My DD is probably too young to understand this now but in time to come I hope she will. As parents we would want to provide the best environment for our children to grow up, within our means & capabilities. That includes selecting a good school.

P & VP's hair?! θ΅’δΊ†ε•°! These are the most potent of all ingredients. No wonder the chant for phase 2c balloting works last year.
My son is just next to me now so I checked this with him. For his class, their assignment is to describe a place they visited during the Jun holidays [can be either local or overseas].

Yes, it can be local or overseas. Unfortunately the assignment topic happens to provide another opportunity for students to compare.
Nevertheless be it local or overseas, it's the learning experience that matters. Gotta tell our child not to feel inferior.

I think we own it to our kids to let them understand that whatever we did/didn't do for them, we've done our best as parents, based on what we know. Just like our own parents have done their best for us, based on what they knew.

Anyway between staying in a condo with totally hands-off parents and a HDB with parents who're always there for us, I know as a kid what I'll prefer.
Why make a comparison saying people stay in condo make up of hands off parents while parents from HDB are always there for the kids?
Children are all innocent and very simple being. Even when they are thinking why some stay in condo some in HdB they see hdb and condo as different items. And not from the point why my parents can't afford, the materialistics comparison between private and HDB.....etc. instead of telling them 'ah boy, people staying in condo are richer but may not be happy as compared to HDB people, .'. We tell them exactly the differences of both structures. If our kids see a Merc passed by, do we instantly say ' nothing great, these drivers are all in debt with car loans,we are happer in mrt no debt and liability' ?!?

I'm afraid you've misread my post. I used a condo-HDB analogy due to ruaqt2's earlier post on her dd's class comparing types of housing. I was saying that for small kids, what matters more is the time their parents spend wih them, not how affluent they are.

If you can pt me to the exact sentence(s) I caused you to think that i implied all condo-owners are hands-off parents, I'll be happy to amend it.
