Hi, I am new here. my daughter is short listed for the half day selection test RGS. so happy!anyway, she is under the MT Chinese domain. Any kind soul here is willing to share their experience for the selection? :boogie: :thankyou:

Oral exams in school are largely spread across several days. Try speaking to your DD's school. i am quite sure the school will accede to your request and put your DD with another batch of candidates for oral.

No it is a centralised exam conducted by all the non-tamil mother tongue language school. And it is only one day exam.[/quote]

my daughter is in the same boat. Prelims oral and RGS selection is at the same time. Sincerely hope RGS will understand that it is a genuine issue and suggest alternate date :xedfingers:

My understanding is if the kid misses PSLE for whatever reason, e.g MC, prelim results will be used for sec school. So to some extents prelim is still important.

You should only missed oral only, so it will be converted to 100%, without oral
