        Hi Hi

I'm need some advice.. start to worry and panic only now when other parents are acting years back 😞

I intend to register my boy (2008) to Kong Hwa but I am not staying near. My mum is staying within 1km from there. I have just joined Hokkien Huey Kuan 2 months ago.

Since it is sure to be balloting for 2B and 2C , what is my chance of getting into Kong Hwa

        1) 2B under Huey Kuan -> I will be under > 2km (does it mean no chance at all?)
        2) 2C under my mum address -> I will be between 1km to 2km ? (chance slim too?)

If I register my boy in the neighbourhood school near my place, I have to think of his meal before school, how to fetch him to and from school, what if I need to OT, etc etc... Headache ...

        Pls advise

          Kong Hwa

at end of Phase 2A(2), what's the difference between 2012 vs. 2011 ?

          refer:-
past years P1 registration statistics at http://www.konghwa.moe.edu.sg under quick links, P1 registration.

          Total vacancies: 270

          i)
          2011

          Phase 1: 128
          2A1: 8
          2A2: 39

          2B: 47
          2C: 48

at end of Phase 2A (2): Total 175 seats taken. (64.8 % gone)

          ii)
          2012

          Phase 1: 120
          2A1: 14
          2A2: 56

at end of Phase 2A(2): Total 190 seats taken. (70.4 % gone)

          difference: 2012 rose, by 5.6 %.

          Balance = 80
split into Phase 2B & 2C: each get 40 seats.

refer Kong Hwa Primary 1 Registration statistics:-
            http://www.konghwa.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=29406

            i)
Phase 2B (under Singapore Hokkien Huay Kwan association):-
            last year (2011) :-
balloting took place, within 1 km only.
            outside 1 km: no chance.

            ii)
            Phase 2C:-
            refer past 2 years (2010 & 2011):-

balloting took place, within 1 km only.
outside 1 km : no chance.

if you register under your mum's address, it'll come under (1 to 2) km, not 1 km.

Does anyone have 2011 Maha Bodhi phase 2c statistics? How many applicants within 1KM, 1-2KM and >2KM? I am not sure if I want to take the risk even though I am within 1KM from this school. Thank you!

Perhaps buy a place near KH and if u manage to secure a letter from SHHK, you can ballot under 2B within 1km 🙂

Can anyone share with me experience with allied educators at Tanjong katong Primary School and Ngee Ann Primary? Are these schools supportive when dealing with children with special needs such as mild case of ADHD?

I think you have posted in the wrong area for the schools you are enquiring about. 🙂
