Wearing shorts under school skirt ?

It seems from most of the posts here, we wear shorts under our skirts esp. when we are young. :grphug: I thought I was the odd one when I did that throughout my school life. :lol: My mum used to call me a tom boy back then and yes, I do feel naked without those shorts under the skirt. Since then, I only wear skirts during formal occasions and it's pants every day. :love: Of course, have learnt to be lady-like but the pants still more comfortable leh.

I still remember that I wore shorts since Primary school.

It is so convenient because we can play hopscotch and zero-point during recess
So I think it is a good idea to wear shorts under the skirt for convenience sake

I have not recalled a day that goes by

without me donning shorts those days.
Even when i'm wearing a dress, i wear
shorts inside. My mum frowned upon
that fact when she found out. She gave
a bigger frown upon realizing my dad

It was easier for me to pull out of uniform
to go play football and basketball when i
have them on. I feel naked without it!

Besides, being a tomboy back then... the
way i sit is how the boys used to tease me.

Yes, I was like you. Wearing shorts under my skirt during my school days.
I was very active and sporty during my school days too.
So just like you, I can pull off my skirt, and always ready for a game as I have my shorts on.
So I only have good words for wearing shorts

I came from an all girls school in primary and secondary schools.


I wore shorts ALL THE TIME, even when I'm wearing casual skirts/dresses outside.

In fact, I STILL WEAR SHORTS UNDER MY SKIRTS NOW!!!! Esp at work

I used to wear my school PE shorts which were short and very comfortable. Then they changed it to those large ugly shorts due to introduction of male teachers in the school.

So my mum bought FBTs for me in upper primary. Thin, light, cooling and not too expensive.

I still wear FBTs under my skirt now I have a large range of colours to 'match' the skirt I'm wearing so it's not so obvious

I didnt let my DDs, now both in Secondary Sch to wear shorts beneath. I think it is uncomfortable for them. Moreover, I think should learn to sit properly. I always remind them so.

Initially, my girl wears boxer underpants, those disney princess type. A bit short, but still got some ‘coverage’ and it’s cooling. For PE lesson, i make her wear an extra gym pants as the sch PE shorts is super wide (btw, she’s super skinny), luckily weather wasn’t that hot last week.


Two days ago, I shopped around and found a pair of boy’s boxer underpants. Fits her just nice, it’s slightly longer than disney princess boxers and material is thicker. Looks just like a pair of well-fitted shorts on her.

I’ll probably make her wear these from now on.
