My nephew who is here for a wedding said it is real hot in hk....

I don't why but every time I open my cupboard, it seems I don't have anything to wear or shoes to match... :rotflmao:  .

goodness me, i have never had so many 敬酒 before.

everyone started drinking on friday nite (dinner). but the \"fun\" only started on sat (lunch) in zhuhai.

sat (lunch, dinner) and sun (lunch) in zhuhai were fantastic. it was really 上等享受。 in fact the stay in zhuhai was 上等享受。 we had a few friends from different parts of china, taiwan, hk etc. total including 2 kids were like 18.

food was great but the 敬酒, to me, was :slapshead: too many times. eat halfway, some1 will come along to 敬酒. then, some1 else will stand up and 敬酒.... :stompfeet: bottles of red wine flow like water.....dh was so happy that 2 days, he was :siao: and even karaoke like :siao: .

in the end, each meal was like took 3 hrs to finish (too much food too  ). but the oysters, fresh water fish, abalone, bird nest were super yummy....

also the 茅台酒 yummy. everyone also drank it like water. the best part was no hangover the next day. 😉

20th year reunion.........wow and they are not even uni friends.

they are a group of friends (from different uni in china, taiwan, hk, japan etc)who applied to join a short term programme in hk 20 year ago. many kept in touch and thus the 20th years reunion.

the friends from china had their first taste of pizza in hk, first visit to Mac. and the programme really widen their horizon....and spur them on to venture abroad to study (harvard, stanford) and work.

it was a fantastic trip for dh...and i am happy for him.
