It's an old brand really. I've bought many times b1f1 over the years. It's value for money and 1 bottle can last many washes šŸ˜„

Oh really  ok, then no need to cart home all the bottles on the rack šŸ˜‰

Roomba users, I'm asking a very silly question. Do you need to take the roomba to each section of the house? ie. from living to room and other rooms? Or does it moves automatically around the whole house? Assuming there are no kerbs amongst the room and the living.

Place Virtual Wall Lighthouse at door of each room (leave it on & it'll switch on automatically when roomba is activated).. This way, roomba will clean each room completely before crossing the lighthouse to another place...

If your house not very big, say 1200sf, then just leave roomba loose. For my scooba, I let scooba roam the living n dining, close all other doors. Then water change or recharge battery n clean the bedrooms one by one with door closed.

But due to the random moving, I felt its more efficient to go section by section (i watched how roomba clean first few days šŸ˜‰ Guess its really your preference. Cheers

              Hi mummies,

Have you used a dryer (for clothes) before? Is it better than spinning the clothes dry? What brand is good value for money and approx. how much? Pls advise as I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks!

                  Hi Angelight

I have been using a Fisher & Pykel for 7 years. Still going strong. We wash clothes everyday. Lots of towels as we shower between 2-4 times daily. All the towels and home clothes goes into the dryer or else no space to dry. So based on frequency of use and length of service, this machine hasn't failed us. Cant remember how much though.

                    Hi BeContented

You are right about its random moving. At first we try to go section by section. But we tend to forget to clean the other sections! So decided to let roomba loose whenever we go out. That way, at least its random moving gets to go everywhere. So by the time we come home our floor is always clean. So lovely to be stepping on clean floor. My husband has fallen in love with irobot too despite the initial skepticism. Now he has agreed to buy our third irobot. It shall be our second scooba 380 to be dedicated to the kitchen. Yipee!

Hi 1amber, thks for your reply on the clothes dryer. Btw, I'm also quite keen on the roomba, how much did u pay for it? Is it high on electricity consumption? When you use the roomba, do you still have to mop the floor?

I'm seriously thinking of getting one cos I'm preparing to go maidless very soon. šŸ™‚
