My aunties, uncles etc…are all planning to stop using chinese herbal tonics and use black garlic instead to replace them. The effect they get from the black garlic i bought for them is all quite positive. The reason they have not tried before that was because of the high price (for example at watson, 6 per packet for $68). The price i get is probably just around 25% of that and is equally good since we have all tried. Moreover, it is from a reputable Korean black garlic company.

Black garlic isn’t in the chinese herbal system, however, if we were to use the chinese herbal theory to make a judgement, black garlic is a tonic that nourishes the kidney, live and stomach. It is suitable for old people as well as young.

        It's in which 'format' - capsule/pills/powder etc?
        Thanks.

It is in raw garlic form. But black garlic is sweet sour in taste. And my mother, aunties and uncles are all pleasantly surprise....is it like they praise me for being so clever....taste so good and is good for their health.

Hi, does one eat the garlic raw, on its own? Or cooked in dishes, like the normal garlic? Thanks.

The black garlic should be eaten raw. It tastes like titbits, sweet sour and is rather pleasant...I won't say everybody like the taste but most people are ok with the taste.

Some people use it for cooking but i think heating will destroy some of the health benefits and is totally unnecessary.

My mum is 64 years old this year. She is consuming supplements from one company, for joints, cholesterol, heart, blood vessels function and digestive system. She is very healthy now and energetic 🙂
