What I mean is, you only need the person who wishes to sit to put the seat down and lift it back up when done. Otherwise, men do not really need the seat cover to be down when they pee in the cubicles.

If the seat cover is down and they peed (accidentally on it) the next person will not want to touch the cover liao. And whoever comes in after will just pee over the cover, sometimes making the cubicle dirtier.

I carry a spray with me and will use it on the seat covers before we sit down. in the past, we would simply use the squat toilets.

I usually try to find a cleaner toilet if possible.

My girl tend to inform in advance & can 'ren' for awhile.

If no better choice than wet wipes before letting her sit on it.

Haha…and I thought I was the only one who is so paranoid about the cleanliness of the public toilet seat.


When my DD was little, I would carry her over the toilet bowl. When she was too heavy for me to carry anymore, like many of you, I placed layers and layers of toilet paper. Then I taught her the hovering method when she was tall enough.

By the way, do you all notice how many people do not wash their hands with soap after using the toilets? Including the retail and restaurant staff…then they serve us after that…

Oh, I have to say it is good if you don't mind squat toilets these days - because since most people avoid using them, which I don't understand why unless one has weak knees, one can really get to \"cut queue\" and use that \"VIP cubicle\".

squat toilets? very tiring for users to squat all the way. [/quote]Just to share a recent incident, my 6YO girl went into a squatting toilet because nobody wants to go in. She slipped and 1 foot into the bowl!!! Lucky that she hasn't done her small business, she came running to helper!!! The floor is wet and slippery which caused the slip which I had warned her many times.
