My friend is going to register for Radin Mas, I said for twins, even though 2 heads but consider as one applicant. But he said no. Eg. 20 seats left and if he register for his twins, will bal be 20-1=19 or 20-2=18. Who is right?

it would be 20-2 = 18

but during ballot, at the finally 20th lot his twin is picked, the school will take in 21.

Also happen before, twenty vacancies, twenty one register and all 21 got in cuz have a set of twins. so I guess twins is count as 1, but 2c minus one vacancy.

The staff should give a breakdown distance of the 30 applicants, that is, within 1km, 1-2km or 2km. I think no risk if you go for RGPS as you are 1-2km zone. But I understand your concern, as you have to think of ds too. Whichever you choose, wish you good luck!

Just saw results for De La Salle, out of 72 places, 47 taken up! Tmrw going to register and just try my luck. If cannot get a place for DLS at Phase 2B and I move to 2C for Yew Tee, does it mean its auto cancelled and you can freely apply for Phase 2C at Yew Tee?

yes, registration is only valid for a phase. if unsuccessful at that phase, parents are required to register their children again at a later phase.

DTJ, in case of divorced parents - and have court order saying custody,control and care is with the mother, is the original/photocopied of the father required??

I am not sure if I am following your question but if you meant the mother has SOLE custody of the child, then the monther need not present father's IC (photo & orig) during registration.

But the mother must hand in a copy of the court papers stating she has SOLE custody of the child - as with all documents, please bring originals along for them to verify.

If my friend registered under 2B as a church member (Fairfield)
But she stay more than 2km what is her chance?

Will she even hv chance to ballot under 2B and if she is ballot out will she able to join 2c ? (is there any priority for church member becos normally under 2c needs balloting too and only for those staying within 1km.

I think priority will be given to SC but if the number still exceeds the vacancies, then the home-school distance will kick in ie. <1km, 1-2 km then > 2 km.
