Good luck to all 2B parents. All 2C parents must be so so nervous (if u r like me ;p). I know I can't sleep till this registration is over!!


I asked my hubby to go down to SCGS later today. Will post an update if I get intel.

Actually what do you make of the stats below? The 26 singaporeans are largely PVs or GRLs? Any SCGS PVs here with insight/intel? Because it was my belief that due to the re-zoning of the GRC in mid 2011 many GRLs previously under Tg Pagar would not qualify for 2B for SCGS this year.

I think shd be GRLs from Moulein-Kallang? I m not too sure as well as the school didnt give me the breakdown of PV vs GRL but given that SCGS does not take in too many PVs, i would think that majority are GRLs but again, i may be wrong.

I am also applying under phase 2C and its really stressful but what can we do right?? Hope we will all get a place at the end of phase 2C. 加油!!

What I meant is that for those that already sign on as GRL in Tanjong Pagar prior to mid 2011 they would not be able to register under SCGS cos SCGS is now under KM GRC.

But parents that are GRLs from KM GRC would now qualify for 2B for SCGS. I guess these parents did not plan for SCGS when they signed on to be GRLs 1.5 - 2 yrs ago but now this option is open to them due to the re-zoning.

Wonder if this re-zoning could explain why there are fewer applicants under 2B this year, compared to last year.

Anyway hope all of us get into 2C without balloting!

I registered at about 10 am. We live >2pm away. We were told that there would be balloting for >2pm. I believe there were 19 vacancies and 27 students vying for those vacancies. These are not uptodate nos.

Yah boy...........but as we're staying in Barker and going to school for my kids will be easier, if go over Junior, then they have to wake up very early to beat the traffic. Sigh...... Think i'll leave my fate to God.
