Hi all, I have a DD in P1 this year too, she sat for this kind of test in Term 1. If it is the same, the test is called School Readiness Test, conducted by the MOE. It is a test to test the pupils on whether they have the age-appropriate level of English and Maths skills. If they do not have the appropriate skills they will be placed in the English/Maths learning support programmes.

I doubt it’s the test to decide if the child should be in LSP becos those are conducted within the 1st 2 wks when school starts so that the child is able to get the help needed ASAP.

Just ask dd again… Is 30 minutes and there are Section A to Section E… There are 12 Questions per section and are all maths questions…
