actually looking at the info phttph posted above, you have a very good chance of getting into PLMGS at Phase 2C since there has been no balloting for those living within 1km in Phase 2C for the past 4 years.
Why not continue to aim for PLMGS in Phase 2C? -
Hi toddles..thanks!...actually personally PLMGS never been my choice thou they just downstairs. I am hoping for miracle if i could find ways through CHIJ OLN for my girl.Nearest IJ to me.Unless really no other ways..then i will just go for PLMGS

For catholic, you can apply for CHIJ OLN under phase 2B. Based on history, CHIJ OLN does not need to ballot in phase 2B. -
Hi bndreve
Thank you very much. Sorry i really dont know how this P1 system works. You mentioned do not need ballot meaning even i live way out 3.5km will have high chance getting in CHIJ OLN? -
Yes. Based on the history from 2006 to this year, there was no ballot for phase 2B For CHIJ OLN. Even if you live 3.5 k away, you would also get in.
You can view the past results here,
http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/hougang
And for this year which was just over, 53 applicants applied for 77 vacancies. So all applicants get in without ballot. -
hi bndreve…thank you very much!

Hihi,
I will be entrolling my dd in hougang ps under phase 2c too, but look at the past few years history, do u think there are really so many PR staying within 1km? And what's your alternate choice if unable to go in?
Guess i can only sleep well when we finally settle all these
