actually looking at the info phttph posted above, you have a very good chance of getting into PLMGS at Phase 2C since there has been no balloting for those living within 1km in Phase 2C for the past 4 years.

Why not continue to aim for PLMGS in Phase 2C?

For catholic, you can apply for CHIJ OLN under phase 2B. Based on history, CHIJ OLN does not need to ballot in phase 2B.

              Hi bndreve

Thank you very much. Sorry i really dont know how this P1 system works. You mentioned do not need ballot meaning even i live way out 3.5km will have high chance getting in CHIJ OLN?

Yes. Based on the history from 2006 to this year, there was no ballot for phase 2B For CHIJ OLN. Even if you live 3.5 k away, you would also get in.

You can view the past results here,
                http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/hougang

And for this year which was just over, 53 applicants applied for 77 vacancies. So all applicants get in without ballot.

Guess i can only sleep well when we finally settle all these
