Would like to hear from the P1 parents how their kids are coping in the sch? P1 work is manageable rite? I recalled my was loving P1 … he’s still loving P2 as he gets more confident of himself and less prone to bullies.
Anybody’s kid joined CCA’s, took up leadership roles or had an adventure to share? -

Your DS got bullied in P1?? :scared: -
Had a chat with a friend whose DD is in another SAP sch & realized PH’s P1 HCL standard is much higher! For eg, term 2 gotta recite 春晓 唐诗 whereas the other sch HCL poetry is about little rabbits & is much simpler.

EL & Maths are manageable while HCL remains challenging. But of late, DD is enjoying the Chinese drama lesson & is excited about her role as a bunny in a performanceWould like to hear from the P1 parents how their kids are coping in the sch? Why so surprised? Boys will be boys. There'll always be taunting, name-calling amongst boys [think my son is no angel in this aspect too]. But as he matures, he learns in his own ways, how to handle things better.

Guess it's part of the growing process. It all boils down to confidence, how quickly one can side-step all these social issues within a sch. -

I'm surprised to hear this. This yr PH removed moxie for P2 so I thought they lowered the standard oredi. -
