I was told Shortlisted pupils will have to take a English test and interview held on 4/8/12 (Sat).

Hi all to those whose kids are trying for DSA this year. Please share what I must do for my child DSA 2013. Is it those between 75 to 80marks for all subjects not worth trying ?

Are you referring to Sport DSA? Preferably have won in national level competition. Whereas, Academic DSA is more for GEP kids. P5 results & P6 SA1 results are important when come to DSA application.

Generally the COs will state some conditions - so far the common condition is so long as the kid qualifies for Express Stream, which most ppl interpret as around 200 for PSLE.

While there is a saying that some kids will slack after getting the CO from their dream sch, presumably because of the easy qualifying conditions, most kids will still want to do well in their PSLE because of carrot (EESIS), pride, self actualization (ommm...) or tiger mum :spank: EESIS is a scholarship for kids who did very well at PSLE.
