            Taxi under which category?

From current Cat A (1600CC & Below), move to Cat E (Open)

The news release is poorly done. On one hand, it says cab companies need only pay the PQP CAT A prices when they buy new taxis, regardless whether it is to replace an existing taxi or add to their fleet.

On the other hand, it says taxis for "fleet expansion" will come from the CAT E COE, which has to go through the bidding process.

Boggles the mind. I must be getting stupid.

                      You're not alone...
Must be LTA scholar standard in order to decode their logic... šŸ˜†
They scared kena $1 COE later...

Pay Cat A price but draw from Cat E quota? 🤷

Dunno, in the first place not sure how the whole thing works.

Can't convince them confuse them. šŸ˜‚
