There are 8 upcoming “Baby Care Workshop for Fathers” at the Community Centres/Clubs (CCs), specially tailored for first-time fathers or those of you who need some refreshment on baby care knowledge. As you celebrate the birth of your newborn, be equipped with the skills to prepare yourself for the many challenges ahead.

A high-quality and substantial father involvement in baby care plays an important role in the growing up of a child and helps in language and IQ development. This baby care workshop is designed to introduce new fathers to the delight of caring for a baby in a simulated environment through hands-on practice.

Participants will acquire the basic skills of baby care such as basic handling, bathing, dressing up, diapers changing, swaddling/safe sleeping, feeding and winding after feeding. Dummies and baby care requisites will be used for demonstration and practice. Handouts will also be given on the skills learnt in the workshop.

HI there,
Hope you have found one now. If not you can check out My First skool branch at Bedok North Str 3. DS is really happy there in the infant care. I got know know he learns drawing (scrible with color pensil) / hand painting..and pasting animal cutting. I can see he is really close to all the teachers there.

I lover their activities too, in this coming June there will be a Kid-In-Charge day where we will be going to marina barrage for some kids reading prog. And next wed, there will be a author meet readers session where parent can join in.

My 2 cents worth.

Anyone can share usually how long they have to wait for a place in my first skool infant care? Cos I called up the call centre but they are unable to give a time frame or even tell me how many infants on the waiting list. I’m really worried cos time to go back work is drawing near!

I am new to this forum. Currently my mum is taking care of my 8mo son. But i wish to errol my son into a better infant care early next year 2013. I hope with this can build a stronger foundation for him.

I am currently working in raffles place and I wish to find a good infant care around this area or somewhere near serangoon or north east line or kallang… definately not in west area…

Any good recommendations?

hi, i visited an infant care at thomson, jalan gelenggang. it is called bright juniors. they have pretty low ratio. hope this helps…

I would like to recommend my DS infant care which is my first Skool
At bedok north str 3, 503. He was there from 2.5 mth and is in toddler class now.
Fees is reasonable and wt Caring teachers! Facilities are new!!
