I called SACPS earlier at 2pm to ask about the registration numbers. Vacancy is 92. But out of the 74 registered, 16 are SC so of likelihood, SC applicants are in. However now, there are 95 registered out of the 92 places. Even if I’ve terribly misheard the admin, and that 16 is actually 60 SC, what’s the chances of my child getting in without balloting? We’re within 1km. Should be likely, right? Dont want to be overjoyed too soon. Anyone has any updates? Many thanks!

I called up 10 mins before closing, the admin said SC are all in, balloting for PR only. Hope there wasn't any more new registrant after that. This years more vacancies are taken up at less popular schools as compared to the past history.

YAY!!! What a relief! I'm so glad this madness is over then. Thanks so much for your reply. If this is nerve-wrecking, I cant imagine how it would be like to vie for places in super popular schools.

In the ballot for SACPS, 10 children, 7 spots. Fingers crossed.

confirmed SACP SC no need to ballot. Good luck to you, snaw!

Can I check if there was any balloting for St Stephen under phase 2B? We might file a statutory declaration since my in-laws stay within 1-2km of St Stephen's. What do we need to do in order to file the declaration? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks. Don't really know how to read the table on MOE 😛

It only reflect as 51 places in phase 2B but doesn't tell you how many places were offered in that phase so can't tell if the applicants were more than available places.
