Singapore citizens with 1 km of the school will have first priority, then SC within 1-2 km, then 2+ km...Justme1:
Hi
Wah seems so complicated?
Anyone got info on whitesand primary sch
places for phase 2C: 60
do they give priorty to those within 1km
or do they allocate the placed to the different categories?
thanks for the clarification
as at end of yesterday
there was already 70 applicants for the 60 places
since those within 1km will get priority,
i can only find out on the last day from the school how many applicants are within 1 km?
will the school reveal such information? -
Just wondering if anyone can help clarify a question I have:
I’m PR (Sorry), have applied for a school for my daughter where we’re over 2KM but in the past there were always places at phase 2c, however this year it’s looking very likely it will go to ballot and I’m now thinking I’d like to withdraw my app and try another local school we also like, is it possible before registration has closed or do we have to wait till 2CS now?
Thanks. -
Hi Snaw,
You can withdraw your application, but you can only do it at the school that you'd registered, and before P2C closed by 4:30p.m. tomorrow. Then, you can register with the new school.
Please check with the school is there any documents you'd to bring with you for de-registration.
Hope this help.

Please don't be sorry being PR! Singapore is an open society. Just there is need for government to distinguish the benefit btw SC/PR. It's our government's issues for failure to look into such matter much earlier. The recent election had finally woke them up that Singapore is still afterall a democratic society and SCs is capable to voice their disapproval of government policy through each individual votes!!Just wondering if anyone can help clarify a question I have:

I think you can withdraw any time before closing date and re-register at another school... Good Luck & Welcome to Singapore and hope one day you might make Singapore your home! -

P1 registration is like placing bets on the casino tables. As long as the dealer had not pressed the 'final' bell (i.e. 1 August 4:30pm for Phase 2C registration), all gamblers (parents) can still change their bets (i.e. another school) on the table. After the final bell is pressed, no change is entertained. Some gamblers win (either direct entry or through balloting) and some gamblers lose. Gamblers whom win can leave the game or take another bet (this happens to few parents whom gave up their Phase 1 or Phase 2A seats and register at later phases e.g. Phase 2B/2C. Gamblers whom lose went on to place another bets (e.g. Phase 2C supplement). Just to lighten the moods a bit with this example but I feel the tense feelings at P1 registration can indeed beat that at casino tables.Just wondering if anyone can help clarify a question I have:
