Now old SC are fiercely fighting with new SC for SCGS, ACS etc. These new SC are actually the PR. Also from the Phase 2A who lives far away from SCGS. Hence it really left crumbs for P2B and P2C <1km.

          Hi! Zakashi,

So where do you plan to witness the balloting process, ACS or SCGS?
          :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

Will both ballots be happened at the same time?

Steamystream wise choice.... Come to smps, great school as well. Your girl will love it there trust me. It's really much of a muchness between scgs and smps, so far smps looks far less competitive. Don't regret later when you are stuck choosing between BHPS or First Tayoh. Those are really 3rd rate schools. Smps v scgs very marginal difference. Both schools produce young ladies who grow up to be high flying professionals and well rounded mothers. That's more than I can say about plan C schools.

I have put my daughter into CHIJ Kellock.... further away but closer to our work and my parents place - I would be able to bring her to school daily!... IJ Toa payoh is not easy to get in too... So we decided Kellock will be the best...
***Maybe sit for a test next year and see if she qualify into SCGS.. So might see you guys there in 2014...

Good luck to all in the balloting! :xedfingers:

                    RGPS 38 registered - increase by 3 from yesterday. 32 within 1km, 1 btw 1-2km, 5 outside 2km. All sc.

SMGS 98 registered in total. 73 are sc. 34 sc outside 2km.

NYPS I heard another 25 applied today.

Wow looks like odds are good at rgps this year, more than 2km still have hope. So far not gone into balloting 4 vacancies left. Even if it goes to balloting at more than 2km odds of getting in will be high. Hmmm… Something to think bout.

                      Thanks magic8ball.

SMGS is also a viable choice for parents who don’t want to go through balloting. If ballot fails, there’s a high chance that there won’t even be spaces in smgs for P2C(S).
