Hi any parents going for next tues ballot?
I keep thinking which school should I choose if we are ballot out. Anyone care to share what are your plans ?
All the while we don’t have luck with whatever lucky draws or lottery so now keep thinking we are definitely not the lucky ones to get in.
Ask hubby what are we going to do. Hubby said as long as we have tried our best for our son there is nothing much we can do already.
These few days I told myself we should
Not tell our son he is going to Fairfield so early coz by now he already can imagine himself playing soccer with his friends/cousin in fairfield.
Just afraid both of us (son & me) cannot face the fact when the result is out. -
Mentally prepare him from now. Tell him some positive things about going to a different school as the friends and cousins and reassure him that both of you have tried yr best to get him into the school but some things are really beyond yr control.
Actually most of the kids that my dd plays with goes to Fairfield and we’ve been mentally preparing her that she may not be going to the same school looking at the figures from earlier phases. So far she’s been taking it quite well and hope it stays that way. -

Hi blesswife,
I am going for the ballot on Tuesday. Dun stress yrself, As for the back up school, you can consider new town or queen town primary. -
Hi Hiaweh and Manichan,
Thank you very much for yr kind advice.
At first we are quite confident of our son going there but now not even 50% sure of it.
Guess now we just have to tell our son don’t be sad if he cannot get into Fairfield other school is just as good. -
