Dazhong has re-built its school. it looks state of the art now. i think the new facilities are a draw factor.Balloting for keming, princess n Anthony.
Da zhong seems surprisingly popular. I guess news of st Anthony relocation could have sway Some nearby residents there. -

I salute the Gov for the right policy! Never did I dream that my kid will have chance (2013 exercise) to enter PEPS, after watching all these years of horrendous balloting!:rahrah: Breaking News!

It is time that SCs take back our heritage schools!!! :nunchuk:
Fellow SCs, you may want to check out similar story at St Margaret's Primary (Novena thread) this year. About 26 SCs registered at last min. If i recall correctly, 53 SCs ballot for 52 places for >2km to make it an ALL-SC 2C intake!!
(with apologies to the 1 SC to be balloted out)

Hope will revive the school and continue its identity. Pity about the change to the Pinyin name Dazhong. It is a heritage school (founded 1938 in Choa Chu Kang area) and its old name is Tai Cheong Public School. :rahrah:

Lianhua (Lian Wah) was founded in 1946 in the Bt Timah village area just after the war.
A pity that the old Bukit Batok East/West/Primary was turned into the Bukit Timah (!!!) Primary  . It was founded in the 50s, same time as Princess. -
