Had a really good laugh on what DS said today.

During dinner, DH pointed to the dish of pork I cooked, and asked, \"What's that?\"
      Me: \"Shoulder butt\"
DS: \"Aw-Hooor! Mummy said \" Show the butt!\"

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: I nearly fell from my chair.
You must have said it with a \"slang\" too. hahahaha

Another silly one from DH. She held up the bottle of pepper, took one look at it, and asked, \"Mummy, did you get this from the ground?\" - Ground Pepper. 😆

Clever!! That's how ground nut come from. You must have taught them science well!! Hehehehe :rotflmao:

DD2 was abt 5 yr old, after dinner one day…

DD: mummy, "g…o…o.v.e.n" (w some kind of slang)
Me: I just turned off the oven, it’s hot, dont go near the oven
            DD: mummy, "g…o…o.v.e.n"!! (louder)
Me: I just said, dont go near the oven! Do you understand English!! (raise voice)
            DD: Do you understand German!!

She meant "guten abend" - "good evening" in German!

When she was studying in Aus, they did German and Italian on alternate years.

Going through past year papers with ds1...problem reads something along the lines of 'X is 3 years old and her sister is twice as old. Her father is 4 times as old as both of them. How old is her father?'

After going through the workings, DS1 commented \"X father should never share private information like this.\" :skeptical: :faint:
