I give my gal $2/day. More on days that she has CCA or remedial. They typically spent about $1 plus and save the rest.

Do the school tpt charge according to distance wise or a same flat rate whether you stay in woodlands or bukit panjang or hillview?

How about taking only one trip (fm school to home)?

Yes, school tpt charge is base on distance. The further the distance, the higher the charge. One trip will be slightly cheaper than two trip.

My gal will be in this school next year too. Hopefully, she will likes it. Actually, she has got in SVPS in phase 2a2 but we withdrew and register in this sch on the last day of phase 2c. Our plan is to secure a seat for her and monitor the situation in CHIJ. Luckily, this year not so competitive.

Hope to make friends with some mummy here and looking forward to 3 nov for the orientaion. Heard frm my friends who have kids there says that we need to buy books and uniforms on the orientation day. So, better to be prepared.

SVPS meaning South View right? I heard that is one of the top schools, though the principal is "outgoing" already… why decide to move to CHIJ?

Yup, south view is a top school but heard from alot of ppl that it's very stressful to be there. I don't think my gal can't make it coz she's not that good. Furthermore, I prefer a single session school so have been wanting to put her in CHIJ. Secondly, I m staying in BP so CHIJ would be a better choice.

Which sch has u registered ur child in? And are you a SC?

I don’t tink it’s worth the risk if your are more than 2kms away.
