both school are great
choose the one that suit u better like location convenience and uniform colour u like :oops: etc

My girl score 259 + 3 HCL, I am in dilemma on school choice. Have in mind the following schools:


1) NJC (COP 259)
2) NYGH (COP 263)
3) SCGS
4) MGS
5) BPGH

Please advise how should I place them? :?:

Hi Randomer, choosing RGS will be a little risky. If I am not wrong, the COP may be raised to those of 2007 which is 265. Nanyang Girls' is normally a point or two below RGS, so it may be better. But decision is yours, just my little experience.

I don't understand why equate top scorer's score to a school's improvement or not...

If a school just grooms a few top-scorers so that they could get into the \"school with top-scorers list\", how would you feel? And frankly, i do wonder if the schools do that?

My son's score = 245.

1st choice - Victoria
2nd - TKSS or Maris stella?
Should i take the chance and apply Victoria as 1st choice (COP=246)?
Also if he gets in, then he will be in the lower cohort, which can be discouraging.
Or should i forget about Victoria and consider TKSS or Maris Stella, and also which should one?
Anyone from TKSS or Maris Stella who can advise?

Take Maris Stella. If u've read my earlier post (won't blame u if u had missed cos this forum is superbly active ) , I've a few ex-schoolmates from Maris Stella & i find them v driven, decent, focused & high achievers. I've a childhood fren (now a doctor) from Maris Stella too.
As for Victoria...can't comment if u should try cos i also don't wanna \"ruin your son's chance\" ...how badly does your son wanna go Victoria? IF he is v keen, i guess u can try since ur son is off COP by 1 point only. BTW is your son atheletic? i mean if your son can run..etc perhaps can try Victoria & tell the principal your son can run for the school ... if not , then Maris Stella is also a very good choice really.

Can you just put in one of 2 choices because my boy will likely get into the afflicated school.
