      Hi wiser,

Palm View or Springdale will not full, even you are > 2km can still apply. If you like one of the school then go ahead. There is school bus service, you can contact their school admin to get the contact.

Agree with sunshine22; don't think the vacancies will be filled up. You can always visit the school & find out about the applications before making a decision.

Hi herd Springdale Principal is the ex principal of KC Presb Pri sch and he been there since 2008 and had quite gd credentials. Probably this is another sch to consider for Phase 2C Sup.

          Hi,

Seems to be a few inaccurate information swirling around online. So, lemme repost what I posted on 19 June for the benefit of parents who are interested in the three new schools in SK.

Here are the list of Principals-Designate and Vice Principals-Designate of the new schools in Seng Kang.

          Springdale Primary

          P-D: Mrs Lee-Koh Siew Cheng
(Current Principal of Marsiling Primary School)

          VP-D: Mr Tan Chin Kee
(Former Vice Principal of Edgefield Primary School)

          Palm View Primary School

          P-D: Mr Clifford Chua
(Current Principal of Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School)

          VP-D: Mrs Joyce Cheong
(Former Vice Principal of Rivervale Primary School)

          Sengkang Green Primary School

          P-D: Mrs Daphne Leong
(Current Principal of White Sands Primary School)

          VP-D: Mr Martin Chan
(Former Vice Principal of Mee Toh School)

You may wish to visit their websites:

          http://www.springdalepri.moe.edu.sg/
          http://www.palmviewpri.moe.edu.sg/
          http://www.sengkanggreenpri.moe.edu.sg/

They contain details about their joint roadshow to be held on 7th July 2012 (Saturday) at Anchorvale Community Club where presentations from the three schools will be held and you can find out more about the schools from the leaders themselves.

Also, you can find out about the school's direction, vision and mission. Each website varies in the content at they carry. You might be surprised to find pictures of the schools facilities and the floor plans to see the environment that they each offer.

Quite exciting to see the development of three new schools in the area. Indeed, it will bring about a totally different education landscape for Seng Kang which offers our children more vibrancy and diversity.

Which are the good schools among the ones where P2CS admissions are available? Should I try for the newly created schools, or the old ones that noone wanted to join until now (eg North Spring Primary)? How come there are so few takers for established schools but so many contenders for newly created schools (eg. North Spring Primary versus Springdate Primary)? Among the newly created schools, how to choose one over another?
