Hi
My daughter is due for registration only next year. But upon seeing how tense the situation is, i’ve decided that it’s nv too early to do some research first.
My husband was from Ai Tong. So meaning my daughter can enter in phase 1 right? But the thing is, we’re residing in the west. Is it worth the effort to travel to and fro everyday? I mean, i know Ai Tong is a good school but in what way is it different from a regular neighbourhood pri sch? Is it worthwhile or too kiasu?
I understand that the sch will move to a holding site from 2014-15 at the old ITE AMK. Will it then be a single session or still afternoon session for P1?
Appreciate if parents here can share ur views n info. Thks. -

No, your girl will be in P2A. -

What will be the mode of transportation for your child?
If you are sending and fetching her daily, you can give it a dry run one day during school term to see for yourself the traffic conditions and travelling time. Perhaps then you can better judge if it is worth the effort.
However, if she's going to take school bus, then you will have to check if any of Aitong's school bus operators services your residential area. If your place is really too far, you might find none!
Last resort....move closer to Aitong. -
