my kid is currently in Pri 1 and i’m wondering if its good to enrol in math prep class. so worried that my kid may not be able to catch up later on in his schooling years. my friends told me that math is really tough these days and even they don’t know how to solve some questions.
any advise if i should enrol my kid… and any recommendations for a good tutor? i don’t want to enrol for the sake of enrolling and at the end of the day the results are only average.

You are the best gauge of how your son is doing in maths. Look through this workbooks and worksheets. If he’s getting most of the sums right, and if he can do most of his homework on his own, then he’s coping well.

I live in the same area too, can share if either of us found it. But PM Lee said in his rally yesterday that we shouldn't be doing this.. I don't think my daughter really needs the prep class, but being kiasu... =p
