This happened a few months ago. I had just showered and was dressing up in my room. DD was sitting on my bed watching me. I was complaining about my pregnant tummy.

Me: Now that my tummy is so big, I can't see what's immediately beneath it.
DD: Don't worry, Mommy. You're wearing your panties. (said cheekily)
      Me:  😐
      DD: :rotflmao:

              NS Saga #1

ds1 (who is currently taking swimming lessons): is it true that if the soldier doesn't know how to swim, he will sit in the office to do office work?

              me : ......

              NS Saga #2

              ds1: i don't want to grow up...

              me : why?

              ds1: i don't want to go NS.

me : why not? You will enjoy a lot of fun activities during NS.

ds1 😐 : you didn't go NS, how you know?

              me : ......

DH and me were preparing to go for dinner and dance. I told the kids that they had to stay at their grandparents place for the night. DS was not very happy with the situation. Besides sulking, his curiosity gets the better of him.

ME: Mummy & daddy going to dinner & dance. You will need to stay at grandparents place for the night.

                  DS: Can I come along?

ME: No, it is only meant for adult.

DS: It's not fair only adults can go to eat and dance.

DS: You keep on telling us to not move around while eating. Tell me, how do adults eat and dance at the same time? 😐

                  ME: :rotflmao:

DS was reading on piranha when I join him (me wearing a read t-shirt).

ds: If piranha sees you, it will create a feeding frenzy
                    me: hmmmm
ds: I've got a brilliant idea. Let's fly off to South America, create a feeding frenzy by dropping a bit of blood. When the fishes are in that stage, lets feed them bread. Can help to change their diet.
                    me: 😐 :siao:

Can see that he's desperately trying to get out of any future activities that require him to be in the hot sun and sweating.

(Btw, I have the impression that guys who don't know how to swim will be made to learn, and better to learn now than in NS. Sit in the office to do office work is only for those guys who have some ailment that will make strenuous activity risky for their health, AFAIK.)

i think 'unfit' (underweight???) guys will be assigned office work ba. my bro is free from any ailment and was a clerk during his NS days. 😐
