Hello, I am new here. Did any of your DS/DD receive any news from DHS? Heard that no news from DHS for interview or test = to no chance?

Yes, I called them and they told me that they will call those who are shortlisted for interview. You may try to call them. My dd was not shortlisted.

Thanks Shalom, had called up and was inform that the inteview and test was over. They'll send out the letter by 1st week of September. That means no chance liao 😒 😒 😒

        jtoh:

University admissions are based first and foremost (for Sg Unis anyway) on your A level or IB results. But for the hotly-contested faculties where every applicant is a straight A student, interviews and other facets of a student's portfolio come into play. So non-academic qualities like leadership abilities, a sense of social consciousness, sporting ability etc will be considered. I'm not sure how much an RA will help in university application, save for the fact that there aren't that many who get chosen to be in the programme per subject per year.
        thnx jtoh πŸ˜„
