geneeric:
My husband was from Ai Tong. So meaning my daughter can enter in phase 1 right?
No, your girl will be in P2A. -
geneeric:
But the thing is, we're residing in the west. Is it worth the effort to travel to and fro everyday?
What will be the mode of transportation for your child?
If you are sending and fetching her daily, you can give it a dry run one day during school term to see for yourself the traffic conditions and travelling time. Perhaps then you can better judge if it is worth the effort.
However, if she's going to take school bus, then you will have to check if any of Aitong's school bus operators services your residential area. If your place is really too far, you might find none!
Last resort....move closer to Aitong. -

now although MOE recently intro changes easing on academic, but doubt this will change the deeply rooted mindset of parents & school. Even no banding, parents already have some pre-existing impression of which are the good or better schools. -
